Greetings! Today lets make some sugar scrub. This is a great gift and if you pair this with the bath salts from last week in a gift basket with a loofa and a nice path puff, you have a complete gift that didn't cost you a ton of money. We will go over some nice packaging ideas in another video. This sugar scrub is relatively inexpensive. you don't have to use the Demarrara sugar, you can use white cane sugar, but you will get a slightly different consistency. You can also add different medicinal herbs or even use an opened up tea bag. I will caution you, if you use tea, only use Black tea or green tea or an herbal tea or herbal blend. the picot teas tend to stain the skin. The ingredients are easily available and not that expensive. Use some repurposed jars and decorate them up. You are going to love this. ***NOTE** Only use Olive, almond or coconut oil in this scrub. Do not use cooking oil, sunflower oil, corn oil, canola oil or safflower oil. Those oils tend to go rancid and will not nourish the skin as the three I have mentioned. To use: Apply a small amount to the areas you wish to scrub. Do not use this on your decollete area (neck and upper chest area) or any areas that have sensitive skin. I like to use this on my arms, legs and shoulders. I hope you try this and I hope you enjoy it. As always. Happy gifting!
