For this xbox cabinet, I will be using the bartop style as shown in my other videos. General instructions for building the cabinet frame are available from koenigs site at www.koenigs.dk/mame/eng/stepweecade.htm I have adapted the weecade plans and have a simplified procedure for building the control panel. My adapted plans are available at www.mediafire.com/?v1l9jn53qtyn4tq I also created a speaker/grill template at www.mediafire.com/?u73i69zytez897y The cabinet shell and control panel are constructed from 12mm MDF/Particle board. I like to get the 2440 x 1220mm large boards and have the guys at the DIY store cut them into 450mm wide strips. They do this at the local DIY store for free. The panels are all based on 450mm widths so this saves a few cuts. I use 15mm x 15mm wooden batons to join the panels and these are glued and screwed. So you are going to need some wood. 2440 x 1220mm is almost enough for 2 cabinets and allows plenty of room for error. Remember to ask for this to be cut into 450mm wide strips.
